SBI Card enables RuPay credit cards on UPI: Here is how to link

Commencing from August 10, 2023, SBI Card, in partnership with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), has unveiled the integration of SBI credit cards into the RuPay platform through UPI, offering customers a streamlined and efficient payment experience. As per an official press release dated August 10, 2023, SBI Card patrons will gain the ability to leverage their RuPay-issued credit cards for UPI transactions, facilitated through third-party UPI applications upon credit card registration, thus requiring the card’s enrollment for utilization of this feature.

How to link your SBI Card-issued RuPay Credit Card on UPI

Step 1 :Currently, on BHIM, Mobikwik and Paytm app customer can link their RuPay Credit Card on UPI. Other apps are enhancing their tech platforms to enable linking of credit card on UPI. So downlaod any of these app .

Step 2: Verify your Mobile Number on the UPI App and complete registration.
Step 3: Post successful registration, select the option “Add Credit Card/ Link Credit Card”.
Step 4: Select “SBI Credit Card” from the list of Credit Card issuers.
Step 5: Select your SBI RuPay Credit Card to be linked.
Step 6: Enter the last 6 digits of your credit card and expiry date when prompted.
Step 7: Proceed to set your 6-digit pin
